The Police Integrated Computer System, which provides the Force’s major operational applications, had reached the capacity limits of the HP (previously Tandem) NonStop platform. BrightStrand was contracted to supply and implement a substantial hardware upgrade. In conjunction with internal technical staff BrightStrand successfully achieved this objective on time, within budget and with minimum disruption to service. The Force has been very satisfied with the outcome.
